about

Once upon a time I built a house. Only I didn't know how to build houses. I got the roof on, but had to stop before putting in the wiring, water lines and interior walls. I knew I'd figure it out someday.

I began writing on the plywood walls. Most of these lyrics were written on those walls.

Now that the house is built and the lyrics are hidden behind drywall it feels like a good time to let this song free.

lyrics

I forgot again
I was going to try
To love bigger

It slipped my mind
I'm not sure why
I can't pull the trigger

The world got heavy and I was buried
The world got heavy and I was buried

But every morning
Birds wake up and sing to me

Love bigger love bigger love
Love bigger love bigger love
Love bigger love bigger love bigger

Losing myself
Loving someone else
And growing bitter

The roof's a little low
For my heart to grow
Got to love bigger

Find surprises in all sizes
Find surprises in all sizes

Tiny flowers bloom
Find the courage to

Love bigger love bigger love
Love bigger love bigger love
Love bigger love bigger love bigger

I forgot again
I was going to try
To love bigger
