I wrote this song with my son Montana. He was four years old at the time.

One day he said the words "One two I love you." I was like "Um excuse me, that's a song!"

Songs sometimes drop off of the dusty light bulbs into your lap like that and you just have to stop what you're doing and write them down.

A day or two later Montana hummed the melody to the song. We put all the ingredients together and wrote this little song about us!

To round it out, the vocal trio on this recording is my wife Nala, our son Montana and me. Some love songs translate well to songs we can sing with our children. I hope this one lands for you and yours like it does for me and mine.
